Especially when you take a stand

If you look at it in black and white
Forgetting all the hues from heaven above

Life can be grand
Taking in moments
Breathing in joy

Letting go and holding on

Life is a gift, so live in the "present"
Cause' tomorrow may not come

And yesterday is gone
So learn from your mistakes
Let go of regret
And remember lessons learned and live for today

Life is a lesson
And it's not the grade you get
But the experience and the road you traveled that got you to your destination
The people you loved
The good you did
The laughter you imparted
The art you made
The words you said
